An Easy Read, Please

What are you all reading right now?

Yes, I'm still working on the same book. It just seems like everything is so crazy lately that I don't have much time to read. But I'm probably over two-thirds of the way through it now (it really is a good book, I'm just having trouble finding the time to read).

I think I need an easy read for my next book, just to take a break from all this heavy-duty stuff and get back into the swing of things. Suggestions?

Thank you, my fellow bookworms!

Textbooks and articles for my big paper! :) Nothing that you would likely enjoy.

Have you read all of Francine Rivers books? I enjoyed the books I read. I also like to read Donald Miller and C.S. Lewis. And...I love Jane Austen too.

But often times I will just pick something in the historical fiction section that has an intriguing cover or is about mystery or books or something and go with it!

I was in the same crunch about a week ago. I picked up the No 1 Ladies Detective Series and I love them! (which is great, because I really am picky about my fiction other than classics!)

I'm reading The Harry Potter Series right now. I know it's kind of controversial in the Christian community, but I know that I'm obviously not going to be influenced by it! Plus as a teacher, I just feel like I need to read them. But yeah, they are children's books, so they're SO easy and quick to read. But still really good!

Have you read any Nicholas Sparks books? They're all really sweet and romantic and they're really easy reads. I've read a couple of them in one sitting. My favorites are "A Walk to Remember" and "The Wedding."

oh I have this same problem! Currently I am stuck reading things for school but I love all Sophia Kinsella's stuff!

Sophie Kinsella is great! Her stories are absolutely hilarious, and they're very easy on the brain - perfect for a homework break. Except then I never get started again.

I am IN LOVE with Cecelia Ahern books. Easy to read but straight from the heart :)

Particularly where rainbows end :)

Right now I am reading books and questions on how to pass my boards, and I cannot wait to be done with all this crazy mess! I am soo tired of reading nursing books, it's not even funny!
But if I had some time to read something else, I like all those "old english" romantic books, among many other thing. They always steal my heart :-)
