Morbid, isn't it?
I bought these little stuffed animals for the dogs last Friday. Within two hours the three of them had all the eyes pulled out. The next morning the poor eyeless things also had their little stuffed innards scattered all over the floor.
Within the week they will be completely de-stuffed.
Within another week the stuffing-less legs will be pulled off.
And soon this will be all that's left.
It's like a horror film for stuffed animals. Except it's real.
Cue the creepy Psycho music.
LOL!!!! This is what happens to all of our dog toys, too. Matter of fact, one particular dog would constantly steal my son's toys from his stroller when we would be outside. Said dog stole is favorite lion one day, an I had to go buy him another one. THEN I made the mistake of leaving out a plastic dump truck the other day, guess what happened to it...
ha ha! Our dog did that one time. He had this little stuffed monkey with fabric arms, legs, and nose. He would chew the limbs off and I would sew them back on. He finally chewed them to scraps and it was just a poor nubby monkey. Oh and he chewed the face off so I had to sew it closed too. We eventually replaced it with a stuffed cow. Not sure how long that one lasted...
Hahahaha!!! Oh I laughed when I read this! Still smiling :)
My parent's dogs do the same thing!
So funny. But not if I were six years old. Glad your dogs enjoyed their toys. Its kind of funny that the take the eyes out first.
Kelley's Max de-stuffs stuffed animals too this too!
I could not help but chuckle :)
Wow, that was rather...disturbing. LOL
LOL, let's try this again! I think it went a little something like this:
We always had to get my dog rope toys instead of stuffed animals 'cause he'd do the same thing; he'd have them shredded within the hour. Even toys that were supposedly designed to withstand destructo-dogs, he'd have 'em ripped up by bedtime.
And I've always found it creepy that dogs go for the eyes first on toys. Creeeeeepy.
lol how funny! your dogs really did a number on those!
You are so funny.
oh goodness! My dog is quite violent with all stuffed animals as well. It takes him a mere 10 minutes to have all squeakers, stuffing, and appendages removed.
It's quite sad. He's even managed to destruct the indestructible Kong toys!
