It's Back

It is back.

I think I'm going to die.

Okay, maybe I'm being a little melodramatic, but it sure does hurt.

You know that pain from couple weeks ago? It's back in full force. I could barely get out of the car when my sister and I got home from work today.

She used to work for a chiropractor's office, so she's going to do some research for me. She's pretty sure it's my sciatic nerve being pinched, and I'm convinced that's what is going on. I have a baby appointment tomorrow, so I'll ask my doctor about it too.

Then it's off to the chiropractor again this week! Oh boy, this thing is going to drain my wallet dry.

Prayers appreciated again.

Aw so sorry girl. :( I remember my pelvic pain was so bad while I was pregnant that I'd cry when I got out of bed in the morning. Different from what you're feeling, but I can appreciate your pain. I hope you feel better sooner than later!

If you are having sciatic nerve pain, it may be due to a tight piriformis muscle. I could leave you a long message about the anatomic reasons you may be having this pain blah blah blah, but give this stretch a try:
Also, look at this website for another explanation of what may be going on:

One way to help the SI joint move if it is getting stuck it the shotgun technique which you can do at home. It's not as scary as it sounds. Lay on the floor with your knees bent to 90 degrees and feet on the floor. Squeeze your knees together, while your husband pulls out on your knees. Then push your legs out, while your husband pushes in at your knees. You shouldn't actually be moving your legs in this technique but it's an isometric contraction. I'll try to find a picture.... We do this all the time for people in the clinic and it works great!

oh no!!
I hope it's easily fixed and that won't have to deal with it for the rest of your pregnancy! I was talking to a pregnant friend on the weekend and she had bad back pain but once she started her yoga it got better.

Oh no! I'm sorry :(

I've read that the sciatic nerve can definitely get pinched and contorted during pregnancy. I hope the chiropractor is able to fix you up! I'll be praying! Praying for your appointment today also. Oh, and good news...we're getting Huck on Friday. I'll update you in an email :)
