Garnier Moisture Rescue - Love!

I recently decided I needed a new facial moisturizer. Moisturizing is really important for preventing wrinkles and keeping your skin looking healthy, and I hadn't been using any for a while.

Especially since it's the fall season, my skin has been feeling extra dry, and I felt like it deserved a little pampering. Plus, you just want to feel pretty when you're pregnant - like you have that "glow".

I had just read about Garnier Moisture Rescue products in a magazine, and I decided to give the gel-cream moisturizer a shot.

Oh my. I love this moisturizer. I feel like it keeps the moisture in my skin without feeling so heavy. I always feel like I'm clogging my pores with other facial moisturizers, but this one feels so light and fresh. I hardly feel like I'm wearing moisturizer at all, but at the same time I feel like my skin is getting the pampering I wanted to give it.

I also love the scent, and a little bit goes a long way, so I think that little jar will last me a while. I actually kind of look forward to putting it on before I go to sleep or apply makeup.

And I think the price is very reasonable. I believe I got it for around $8 at Walmart, which isn't too bad for a good moisturizer, in my opinion.

There's my beauty tip for the week! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. And if you're looking for a new facial cream, I'd recommend Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream (boy, that's a mouthful, no?)!

P.S. I was not compensated in any way for this review - I just really like the stuff, that's all!

I agree with the wanting to feel pretty when pregnant. There's a lot we can't control but wearing pretty make up is something I can still do :) Glad you found a moisturizer to work for you.

I used to have an Avon gel mosturizer and I loved it too! I kinda miss it now that I read this. Maybe I'll make the switch too!

I was in Target just yesterday looking for a good moisturizer for my face, and I swear they don't sell that stuff anymore, with any brand! I saw lots of soaps and cleansers and toners, and I the hardest time just finding a moisturizer, especially from the brand I normally go with. It was so weird....

Next time I'm in Wal-Mart (which is hardly ever), I'm going to look for what you bought. I love the smell of other Garnier products, I can imagine that this stuff is just as lovely!

Oooh, sounds good! Might have to keep an eye out for it (I'd go check now, but our walmart is moving across town soon and it's hectic there). I've been wanting a good lightweight moisturizer that DOESN'T feel like it's clogging my pores, 'cause I already fight spontaneous breakouts anyway :/

i always worry about face products! I have super sensitive skin and basically break out if you look at me funny. Lately cetaphil seems to work...with only slight acne...

So, I went and bought this at Target last week after church, right? Right.

Love it! Thanks for the recommendation, girly. It comes at an especially good time, since I just switched face-washes and the one I switched to dries my skin out a lot more than my old one (but they were sold out of my old one. lame). Fabulous timing, and a fab product. Excellent.
