But I did have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and Derek and I accomplished alot this weekend! More on that later. It's also time for another pregnancy update this week, which I'll post as soon as possible.
Today I have a doctor's appointment, and I thought I'd attempt to finish our registry before that, so this is just a short, sweet post just to show you the annual Christmas decorating pictures. We decorated the tree the weekend before Thanksgiving - we always jump into the Christmas season a bit early!
Of course I had to make us some fancy hot chocolate - yum!
My view of Babykins.

Derek's official Christmas decorating job is to put the topper on the tree.
Proud of our completely decorated tree.
Some of my new Christmas decorations! I felt like I needed some centerpieces for my coffee tables. What do you think?
The dining room and living room areas.
Sorry for the color cast in the pictures - I haven't had time to try to correct that. And no, it's not your imagination, I did change sweaters halfway through the decorating process.
And (as Chloe pointed out) yes, Derek did shave halfway through as well! We took a break in the middle of the day and went out to eat, so I changed and Derek shaved.
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving, and a wonderful time decorating your houses for Christmas!
Because I know alot of you do it the weekend after Thanksgiving.
I don't think there's many middle-of-December people among your ranks. Correct me if I'm mistaken.
Looking forward to seeing your Christmas decor too! Speaking of which . . . back to my reader.
Looks like fun! Love how festive it is! We haven't had a chance to pull out the Christmas decor yet...hopefully this week sometime. I'm usually a Thanksgiving week decorator!
hmm, is it my imagination, or did Derek shave halfway through the process? LOL!
And your house looks too cute! I need to retain some sort of holiday lighting/decor besides our borrowed tree and three ornaments...sigh.
i love the picture of your hot chocolate and baby bump! so cute. your tree looks great! we have all of our indoor decor done...but not the outside!
Ooh, I love your sweater in the belly picture! Your decorations look wonderful! Thanks for the tip on stretching and the sciatic nerve. I figured that is what it is, but the only solution so far is to lay down on a hard surface, which isn't feasible during a work day, ha!
Hot chocolate is the best!
Ii love your tree and I really like the colour of your centre pieces :)
Cute, Cute! I love the centerpieces. Very beautiful :)
Looks lovely! I love the candels!!
Love your decorations..everything looks great!!! Your baby bump is so cute! I've got to get moving on the decorating this week for sure..I feel so behind!
Looks like you guys had so much fun!
Everything looks so pretty and festive!! I love the centerpiece on the coffee tabe :-)
I love the decorations! And I want some hot chocolate now :)
Ooh, looks great! How fun, I can't wait to decorate our house too - I'm starting with a little bit today!
I'm excited to put up our tiny tree, but at the same time, I'm not excited, because I have NO IDEA where I'm going to put it.
We are in dire need of a small piece of furniture with drawers. Until we get that item, all the things that would go in the drawers are on top of a table. The table that I would like to use for the tree.
You can see my dilemma here...
I love all the christmas decorations! you are looking so cute :) I hope your doctors appointment went well and that hot chocolate looked yummy!
I love decorating for Christmas! You guys look like you had so much fun, too! Everything looks great!
Oh I've been out of blogging world and loved getting caught up on your sweet blog! Love, love that view of your baby bump! How adorable! Your decor is fabulous! :)
